Job Title: Delivery Driver - Hillsboro
Department: Trucking
Reports To: Plant Superintendent

SUMMARY: The delivery driver is responsible for delivering bulk and packaged products. Drivers are to be professional in conduct and appearance and portray themselves as ambassadors for Countryside Feed LLC. The delivery driver is responsible for general vehicle maintenance, vehicle cleanliness; correct loading, unloading and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Expedite timely delivery of feed, ingredients, and other products throughout trade territory.
- Provide positive/effective communication and relations with customers and co-employees.
- Address customer questions and concerns with supervisor and appropriate office personnel.
- Learn all areas of computerized load out functions and be proficient in loading own vehicle with proper products.
- Responsible for upkeep and repairs of all delivery equipment and notify supervisor of repairs to be outsourced.
- Possess basic knowledge of livestock feed and ingredients and notify management of any product discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean (inside and outside) and safe delivery vehicle and working environment. You will be assigned an area of the mill to maintain and to keep clean according to the checklist developed for the area. It is expected that you assist with the cleaning in all areas that require daily cleaning attention at the mill.
- Maintain, adhere to and promote all safety standards and government regulations maintaining high safety standards.
- Comply with all DOT regulations including hours of service rule as it applies to Countryside Feed LLC operations.
- Responsible for fueling and securing trucks (windows up, bulk tank covers closed, lights out, air tanks drained, heaters plugged in, doors locked, etc.)
- Assist with warehouse functions including operating the bagging line and housekeeping duties.
- Assist with loading customers with bagged product in the warehouse. This may include driving the forklift.
- Assist on other projects in the shop.
- Must be willing to be cross trained in other areas/positions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma. One or more years of class A or B (≥ 26,001 #’s) truck driving experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and complete DOT and shipping paperwork. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, calculate figures and amounts such as flow rates, volumes and the ability to convert pounds to tons. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to identify and avoid potential hazards.

Countryside Feed LLC Kansas is hiring an Operator for pre-mixing at the Seneca Kansas location. This position involves executing all processes to manufacture the product which includes but is not limited to, the operation of all receiving, grinding, mixing, and associated equipment necessary to perform this responsibility.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 year of age
- Batch and mix feed in compliance with high-quality procedures including FDA and State guidelines.
- Load bulk products onto customer and company trucks.
- Receive and unload bulk ingredients and occasionally operate delivery trucks on company property.
- Roll, grind, and transfer ingredients to maintain proper inventory levels for efficient manufacturing.
- Responsible for daily maintenance and housekeeping of the mill equipment.
- Possess basic knowledge of livestock feed and related ingredients.
- Responsible for operating and assisting the bagging line.
- Assist with loading customers with bagged product in the warehouse. This may include driving forklift.
- Perform daily and monthly physical inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical/Work Environment:
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative position requires daily communication with customers for taking orders and routing delivery trucks. This includes communication with the control room personnel for production forecasting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Includes the following and other duties as assigned.)
- Take orders from customers and enter them into the production system utilizing computerized/custom software.
- Invoice customers and mail invoices and monthly statements within time periods specified by the supervisor.
- Process point of sales dollars/funds.
- Provide effective, courteous, and positive communication/relations with customers and co-workers.
- Prepare and maintain product tags and tag program from Brill Formulation.
- Maintain Veterinary Feed Directive Records
- Prepare grain settlements for producers and the co-ops.
- Prepare grain bank statements for the co-ops.
- Cross-train with the Purchasing Representative, including but not limited to inventory management and commodity contracting and accounts payable.
- Possess basic knowledge of livestock feed and ingredients.
- Maintain, adhere to, and promote all safety standards and government regulations maintaining high safety standards.
- Ensure Countryside Feed tags comply with all FDA, State GMP’s, and other governmental regulations.
