Job Title:               Production/Bagger Operator 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:  The warehouse attendant is a full time position that is responsible for receiving and loading packaged products as well as bagging and stacking product.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Load customers with packaged product from the warehouse.
Receive packaged products from suppliers.
Drive a forklift.
Responsible for daily maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse and mill equipment.
Responsible for operating the bagging line in accordance with all quality and GMP procedures.
Perform monthly physical inventory of the warehouse.
Possess basic knowledge of livestock feed and ingredients.
Assist on other projects in the shop.
Provide effective communication with customers and co-employees. 
Provide positive customer service & co-employee relations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain high safety standards.
Must know, maintain, adhere to and promote all safety and governmental regulations.
Must be willing to be cross trained in other areas, especially control room operator position.
Occasionally operate delivery trucks on company property and willing to possess/obtain a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes to fill in for truck driver position.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High School diploma
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, calculate figures and amounts such as flow rates, volumes and the ability to convert pounds to tons.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
This position does require a valid driver’s license.  Must be able to pass fork lift safety instruction and field test.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and explosives.  The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and/or confined spaces.  The noise level in the work environment in some areas may, from time to time, exceed 85 db.
